Captain Jintu Gogoi was a martyr and did great works in the Indian army. He is remeber for his contribution in the kargil war at a very young age. A football tournament is organised by the indian army to remember his great works and let people know about a great personality. Indian army did a trophy tour to Jnv Tinsukia and the school was blessed for that. Some cultural programmes were performed by the students of Jnv Tinsukia and the programme was a successful one.
